Specialty masking techniques are emplyed on geometrically challenging parts to ensure clean, crisp coating lines for fluid bed application of powders.  In this case, the Bus Bar shown is Tin Plated after the coating process. The Epoxy coating is impervious to the plating process, and is adhered to the base metal part so that, should the plating fail, the coating will not chip from the base part and allow electrical arcing between other bus bars in close proximity.
